Meet The Founder
Christopher Ryman – SoulBall Founder
Having played youth and reserve team football for a professional football club at the age of 17 before deciding to walk away from it all, Christopher has had an insight into the professional game, aspects of which he would very much like to be a part of changing.
He is a FA Licensed Football and Futsal Coach, holds a BA Hons. in Primary Education with Physical Education, has a Coaching Diploma from the TOVO Institute (Barcelona), and a Coerver Coaching Youth Diploma. He has coached with Cardiff City and the Irish FA.
A qualified English Language teacher, Christopher has had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages from all over the world.
A very proud husband and dad of 3 children, Christopher has a deep desire for players to be comfortable and happy with a ball at their feet – whatever their age, whatever their ability – and is in no doubt whatsoever, that the footballing world is in real need of good role models for children to look up to, and where the nurturing and care of a player’s self-esteem and character is valued more than a ball.
